Transportation Issues in the Aftermath of Hurricane Katrina

Menerjemahkan...

We have here the elements of the economic crisis that we can ride in the early and unwanted crisis in our business cycle, after the energy crisis as it is mid-70s. As businesses can not deliver the goods to the markets we have problems on other major highways like I-20, I-40, I-70 with bottlenecks. Rail can not pick up the slack, it's out too. Many airports closed to be opened first, but it will be weeks until all surface transport navigatable and until the people have water supplies, ice, fuel, sewage systems back on line, hospital. We have some big problems indeed. Not to mention future hurricane strikes and the probability for all in the next few months. We need a strong, strength and honor and the type of leadership is now at all levels of government and we have local heroes like you to pitch in and help our neighbor. This thing is going to get worse before it gets better. Think about it.
